The Quiet Game by Greg Iles
Book Number:RC 49340
4 sound cassettes
Widowed Houston prosecutor turned author Penn Cage returns to his Natchez,
Mississippi, hometown. After stirring up trouble by commenting about an
unsolved 1968 bombing of a black man, he discovers a personal reason to
solve the old case. Violence, strong language, and some explicit
descriptions of sex. 1999.
This is the first of Greg Iles books for me. I really enjoyed it. This is
a very involved story line that covers over 30 years of changes both in
lives and our society. I give it a 5 out of 5 and look forward to reading
more of his works.
Happy Reading,
Carla/TexasRed

I've read one of his books I'm trying to find this one but I hadn't read the summary so I'm glad you posted this :)

Sounds good, I think I may have read one of his that was excellent. Unfortunately, I don't remember much about it.

My girlfriend and I read this book fairly recently and both thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish. It was just one of those books that was hard to stop reading once we had started.

We're now in the process of trying to get "Turning Angel". It is the second Penn Kage novel.
